The Springboks have dropped to No 7 in the World Rugby rankings after their 32-19 loss to Argentina in Mendoza.

By upsetting South Africa, Argentina climbed to ninth (75.55 to 77.02) above Fiji, whose rating remains unchanged.

The Springboks have been relegated to seventh thanks to a rating points decrease of 1.48 (83.32 to 81.84). Scotland have been elevated to sixth by default.

The rest of the top 10 is unchanged, with neither the Wallabies nor the All Blacks losing or gaining any points following the latter’s 40-12 win in the second Bledisloe Cup Test.
