Kaizer Chiefs coach Giovanni Solinas has expressed his disappointment after his side were denied the opportunity to book their spot in the MTN8 final at the hands of SuperSport United.
Bradley Grobler’s third goal in two games sunk the Amakhosi at the FNB Stadium on Saturday night with the Italian mentor yet to register only his second victory with the club in all competitions since taking over the reins at the start of the Absa Premiership season.

Solinas expressed his disappointment at his side’s failure to reach the MTN8 final despite heading into the clash with an advantage due to the away-goal rule.
‘The first half was difficult because our passing game did not work. The performance in the first half was not good,’ he said in post-match comments.
‘The second half was much better. We created chances. It’s a pity that we conceded that goal but the second-half performance was positive.
