South Africa’s Kevin Anderson has dropped four places in the latest ATP rankings following his fourth-round exit at the US Open. 

Anderson dropped from a career-high fifth down to ninth.

US Open champion Novak Djokovic moved up three spots to No 3, while the man he defeated, Juan Martin del Potro, moved down a spot to fourth.
