George Lebese’s agent Steve Kapeluschnik will meet with Mamelodi Sundowns’ management today as he looks to help the forward seal a move away from Chloorkop.
Lebese joined Sundowns from Kaizer Chiefs in 2017, but things have not gone according to plan, as he struggled to force his way into Pitso Mosimane’s side.
The winger has not played the entire season, and has made no secret of his desire to leave Chloorkop in search of game time.
Kapeluschnik revealed earlier in the window that there was interest in his client, but a deal has yet to be made for the former Kaizer Chiefs star, with Sundowns seemingly holding all the power.
‘I’ve met with the club yesterday and we will meet again today hoping they make a decision,’ Kapeluschnik said.
‘Like I said before, the player wants to play and he would like to try somewhere else, but it is all up to the club and we have to respect that.’
With hours till the window shuts and a couple of potential moves on the cards, Lebese may just find himself a new club.
