Kaizer Chiefs have confirmed that defender Godfrey Walusimbi has left the club after spending just five months at Naturena.
The Soweto giants signed the 29-year-old from Kenyan outfit Gor Mahia on deadline day in the previous transfer window, but the left-back has found life in South Africa difficult.
He featured under then Chiefs manager Giovanni Solinas at the start of the campaign, but has hardly had a look-in since the arrival of German coach Ernst Middendorp.
