Mamelodi Sundowns attacker Phakamani Mahlambi is hoping to make his own mark in the Caf Champions League knockout round.
The Brazilians finished second in Group A to qualify for the quarter-finals of the continental competition.
Following the conclusion of the quarter-final draw in Cairo on Wednesday, Pitso Mosimane’s side will now take on Egyptiant giants Al Ahly in the quarter-final of the Champions League.
The former Bidvest Wits attacker has already made four appearances in the competition, one in the first round and three in the group stages.
‘Yes, I look forward to that [playing in the knockout stages]. I think it’s always about making your own mark,’ Mahlambi told the media.
‘I was there [at Al Ahly] and I did not play, but hopefully I am going to play. I’m looking forward to it, I want to do well.’
