Kaizer Chiefs goalkeeper Itumeleng Khune has faith that Bafana Bafana will qualify for the 2019 African Cup of Nations in Egypt.
Bafana Bafana will take on Libya in their final Afcon Group E qualifier in Tunisia on Sunday, only needing a draw or win to book their place in the continental tournament.
However, the Amakhosi No 1 shot-stopper will miss their crucial clash due to a shoulder injury he sustained late last year.
Khune believes that all three keepers (Darren Keet, Rowen Williams and Bruce Bvuma) are capable and have the quality to help Bafana reach the 2019 Afcon in Egypt.
‘It’s sad that I am not part of a match of this magnitude, as it is a decider for us as a country. I believe in the three keepers that have been selected and I know they are more than capable of keeping a clean sheet for us,’ Khune told his club’s official website.
‘More importantly, I have faith in the team and I urge the guys to go all out and make South Africa proud. We are fully behind them and know they will seal our spot in the final list of qualifiers.’
Bafana Bafana against Libya kicks off at 7pm.
