Stellenbosch were crowned National First Division (NFD) champions to secure automatic promotion to the Absa Premiership after their goalless draw against Maccabi FC.
Steve Barker’s men secured their PSL status after their 0-0 draw against Maccabi FC at the Idas Valley Sports Ground on Sunday.
The Cape Town-based outfit finished the 2018-19 campaign at the summit of the NFD standings with 56 points, while claiming 16 wins, eight draws and only six defeats all season.

Meanwhile, Royal Eagles booked their place in the promotional playoffs despite their 1-0 defeat to Ubuntu Cape Town at Athlone Stadium, and after finishing second by three points behind Stellies.
Elsewhere, Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila (TTM) defeated Richards Bay 2-0 at the Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila to join Eagles in the playoffs, where they will have a three-way fight for a place in next season’s Absa Premiership alongside the 15th-placed team in the PSL.
The promotion playoffs will begin on Tuesday 15 May.
