Mamelodi Sundowns have bolstered their squad with the Uruguayan forward Mauricio Affonso from South American side Alianza Lima.
The 27-year-old has now been announced as the Brazilians first new signing ahead of the 2019-20 season.
The South American striker was last on the books of Alianza Lima in Peru and has enjoyed stints in Argentina, Uruguay and Saudi Arabia to name a few.
Affonso joins the nine time Absa Premiership champions with an impressive goalscoring record for Lima, having found the back of the net 19 times from 39 appearances.
The lanky striker has now become the fourth South American at the club, joining the likes of Ricardo Nascimento, Jose Ali Meza and Gaston Sirino.
Sundowns are currently undergoing their pre-season camp in Nelspruit as they continue their preparations for their opening Absa Premiership fixture against SuperSport United on 3 August.
