Kaizer Chiefs have officially extended the contract of left back Siphisakhe Ntiya-Ntiya until June 2023.
The initial contract of the 22-year-old, who is a product of the club’s youth development programme, was set to expire at the end of the current campaign.
Ntiya-Ntiya has established himself as a first-team regular in the past season after he was promoted in January last year.
However, Amakhosi has since rewarded the defender for his dedication, commitment and good work ethic by handing him a new three-year contract.
The Soweto giants released the following statement:
‘Amakhosi have extended Siphosakhe Ntiya-Ntiya’s contract until 30 June 2023.
‘The young player’s contract was due to expire on 30 June 2020, but the Club has opted to review and improve the current contract and sign a new one until June 2023.
‘His dedication, commitment and good work ethic have established him as a valuable member of the team.
‘Ntiya-Ntiya was promoted from the youth ranks in January 2018 and has been a regular feature at the left-back position for Amakhosi.
‘We congratulate him and hope this serves as motivation to all the youngsters in our Youth Academy.’
