Amajita winger Kobamelo Kodisang has left Absa Premiership outfit Bidvest Wits to join SC Braga in the Portuguese Primeira Liga.
After spending a week training with Braga, the club has announced the signing of the Wits teenager, who put pen to paper on a three-year contract with the Portuguese outfit.
The 19-year-old now returns to Portugal after a successful loan stint in the Serie B of the Portuguese Championship with AD Sanjoanense last season, where he scored five goals from 24 appearances in all competitions.
Speaking on his move to Braga’s official website, Kodisang said: ‘I hope I can help the team reach the second division and win the campaign and championship.
‘Every Braga B player wants to go to the first team. I also expect to go to the first team but I know it won’t be easy. I have to work hard and be dedicated so I can go through to the A team.
‘Yes, it is true that I spoke to Luther Singh before coming. We played in the South Africa U20 squad and it was important in my decision,’ he told the club’s website.
