George Lebese has revealed he is to meet with his agent as he continues searching for a new club after parting ways with Mamelodi Sundowns.
The 30-year-old midfielder was released by the Brazilians before the close of the transfer window. He bid Sundowns, club president Patrice Motsepe, coach Pitso Mosimane and his technical team as well as their supporters farewell in a heartfelt letter.
Lebese, who joined Sundowns from Amakhosi at the beginning of the 2017-18 season, spent the last six months of his last season on loan at Tshwane rivals SuperSport United.
After struggling for minutes on the field during his spell with the Brazilians, the club and the player have since agreed to part ways.
The former Kaizer Chiefs star midfielder has now confirmed that he will be meeting with his agent to discuss his future and next destination.
‘At the moment I am not sure [of the future]. I am going to meet with my agent and find out what are [my] options,’ Lebese told the media.
‘I have been training on my own. I couldn’t stop training. I am in better physical condition.’
