The Sharks have confirmed the signing of Springbok loose forward Sikhumbuzo Notshe from the Stormers.
As part of an extensive recruitment drive, the Sharks announced on Thursday that Notshe would be the latest player to join the Durban-based franchise ahead of the 2020 Vodacom Super Rugby season.
He represented Western Province at all youth levels, and has been in the Western Province/Stormers senior set-up since 2013.
Last year, Notshe featured in six Tests for the Springboks, but struggles with fitness and form during the 2019 season caused him to fall by the national wayside.
On Wednesday, the Sharks announced the signings of Lions players James Venter and Madosh Tambwe for the 2020 Super Rugby season, and are expected to unveil further recruitments soon.
We would like to introduce Sikhumbuzo Notshe who will be joining the @CellC Sharks family from the start of pre-season.
