Kaizer Chiefs have confirmed that defender Eric Mathoho and winger Dumisani Zuma have signed contract extensions with the Soweto giants.
Mathoho has put pen to paper on a new three-year contract at Naturena as his current deal was set to expire in June 2020 but his new contract will now run until June 2023.
The towering defender’s impressive start to the current season has earned him a new deal, having already scored two goals while featuring in all four of Amakhosi’s games in the league.

Meanwhile, Chiefs also announced that Zuma penned a new three-year contract with Amakhosi which will run up until the 2022-23 season.
The 24-year-old like Mathoho has also featured in all four of Chiefs’ Absa Premiership games so far this campaign, although he is yet to find the back of the net.

Mathoho and Zuma have been regular starters for Ernst Middendorp this campaign and has contributed to the team’s great start. They have climbed to the top of the Absa Premiership standings with 10 points after four matches.
