Cape Town City coach and former Uefa Champions League winner Benni McCarthy believes Percy Tau must treat Tuesday’s match against Real Madrid as just another game.
Tau’s team Brugge face the European giants at the Santiago Bernabeu on Tuesday evening.
Having spent two spells in Spain with Celta Vigo in the early 2000s, McCarthy is no stranger to taking on Los Blancos at the famous home ground.

With Bafana Bafana’s star man set to do battle, the former FC Porto striker has advised him not to let the occasion play him.
‘He shouldn’t let the occasion play him, but he must play the occasion‚’ McCarthy said.
‘He must treat this game as just another one because the minute you start adjusting your game‚ you are going to put too much pressure on yourself.
‘He must just relax and if there is an opportunity to do some magic‚ he must do it.’
