Kaizer Chiefs coach Ernst Middendorp has revealed that a host of stars will return from injury as the Fifa break gives Amakhosi the chance to regroup.
The Soweto giants were hit with a number of injuries during a seven-day period playing three matches.
Samir Nurkovic, Itumeleng Khune, George Maluleka, Reeve Frosler, Siphosakhe Ntiya-Ntiya and Kearyn Baccus all picked up injuries as Chiefs went on to collect nine points from three games to top the Absa Premiership standings.
But after having the weekend off due to the MTN8 final and now with the start of the international break, Middendorp has been afforded the time to allow his side to regroup and recuperate.

‘We will collect our players’ injuries and what we picked up in the last three games, it’s not a big deal,’ said Middendorp.
‘Kearyn Buccus got a knock and thought it would get better, but like Reeve Frosler, George Maluleka, Siphosakhe Ntiya-Ntiya, Kgotso Moleko, Samir Nurkovic – they will all start on Monday.
‘So, we will regroup and start afresh with this same ambition as the last three games to collect as much points as possible, and I think we achieved those goals.’
