Kaizer Chiefs midfielder Kearyn Baccus believes the Soweto giants can win every trophy on offer this season starting with the Telkom Knockout Cup.
The Glamour Boys will renew their rivalry with Cape Town City when the two sides square off at Cape Town Stadium on Saturday in the round of 16.
The two sides previously met in the Absa Premiership in August with Amakhosi coming out victorious after they came from behind to secure a 2-1 victory over City at Newlands Stadium.
Baccus, who scored his first goals for Chiefs against City, insists that he is relishing the chance to represent Amakhosi in his first cup competition.
‘We are looking forward to going back to Cape Town to face Cape Town City. They are a strong side, but we managed to beat them last month in their backyard,’ Baccus told his club’s official website.
‘I’m relishing the prospect of playing my first cup game in South Africa.
‘We would like to win everything on offer this season. We will work hard to achieve this dream.’
The match at Cape Town Stadium kicks off at 3pm.
