Watch as Kaizer Chiefs striker Leonardo Castro and midfielder Willard Katsande talk to the media in the Soweto derby buildup for the Telkom Knockout quarter-final against Orlando Pirates.
Amakhosi and the Buccaneers will clash in the first Soweto derby of the season in the Telkom Knockout quarters at the Moses Mabhida Stadium on Saturday, with a spot in the semi-finals up for grabs and both Soweto giants yearning to end their silverware drought.
The Glamour Boys come into the game full of confidence as they top the Absa Premiership log, five points ahead of second-placed Sundowns, who they beat 2-0 over the weekend. Pirates, on the other hand, have endured an indifferent season thus far after Rhulani Mokwena was forced to step in after the shock departure of Milutin Sredojevic.
It’s crazy how fast things change in football. At the start of the season @orlandopirates looked poised to push on for silverware, but now it’s @KaizerChiefs who are the team looking to challenge heading into the first #SowetoDerby of the season in the #TKO2019 quarters. pic.twitter.com/M7LrIGwYrJ

Chiefs welcomed the media to Naturena on Wednesday where Castro spoke of his involvement in ‘that’ goal against Sundowns, his partnership with fellow forwards and the upcoming Soweto derby.
