Kaizer Chiefs midfielder Lebogang Manyama says his side are looking to close the year with two wins to keep their forward momentum ahead of what will be a tough start to 2020.

The league leaders face Bloemfontein Celtic on Saturday evening at the Moses Mabhida Stadium wanting to continue their fine league form in the last two games of 2019.

Chiefs currently sit 10 points clear at the top the table. Manyama told the media on Thursday during an open day at Naturena that the side are looking to capitalise on their next few games with a view of their tough fixtures coming up in January and early February.

‘Yeah, obviously another tough game against a team that plays good football, we watched them a lot this season, with good players. Ndumiso Mabena, he’s been in the game for quite a while, and Lantshene Phalane,’ said Manayama on Saturday’s opposition.

‘But it’s another chance to get three points to extend the gap [at the top of the table], keep the momentum and make our supporters happy.

‘It’s important as it has been throughout this season each and every game. We had a couple of bad days but things can happen to anybody. We want to get six points in these last two games,’ he added.

‘Surely it will be a tough schedule in January, some big games, so it’s very important to keep momentum. These are another three points we want to take.’
