Mamelodi Sundowns coach Pitso Mosimane wants his side to beat Highlands Park within 90 minutes to avoid extending the game into extra time.
The Brazilians are set to travel to the Makhulong Stadium when they take on the Lions of the North in the Nedbank Cup quarter-finals.
Sundowns made their way to this stage of the competition after beating Vaal University 2-0 at the Lucas Moripe Stadium on 23 February.
Meanwhile, Highlands progress to the last eight after edging Kaizer Chiefs 5-4 in a penalty shoot-out at the Makhulong Stadium after the game ended 1-1 after 120 minutes of play.
The Sundowns mentor has warned his side not to underestimate the opponents as he believes the Lions of the North will be a tough team to beat at their home ground.
‘Cup games have a different tempo. Different feel. And let’s be honest, who wants to go to Makhulong?’ Mosimane told the media.
‘We are going to Makhulong – and you know that at Makhulong you need energy more than tactics. I hope we finish the game in 90 minutes. We should not go to extra time.’
Mamelodi Sundowns against Highlands Park kicks off at 6pm on Saturday.
