Stellenbosch FC have confirmed that three members of their staff have tested positive for Covid-19 but the players remain free of the virus after the first round of testing.

The club announced the news on Tuesday afternoon via their Twitter account just hours after Bloemfontein Celtic revealed that midfielder Given Mashikinya had also tested positive.

The club confirmed that all members have been put into self-isolation.

The news comes as the league has begun ramping up testing ahead of a possible return to training for PSL clubs.
