Now you can put a price on a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity and that is R644,875 … the winning bid for three to play golf with Ernie Els at Leopard Creek.
Golf with the Big Easy was one of 15 lots put up for auction by GolfRSA to aid their relief efforts towards caddies and casual workers affected by the lockdown and the nearly three months’ closure of golf facilities.
The winning bid went a long way to pushing the funds raised past the million-rand mark as part of the second phase of help provided by the organising body. The next highest lot sold for R 99,663 and was the chance to join England cricket star Kevin Pietersen for a round at Wentworth.
The Els golf opportunity includes:
One round of golf for three golfers with Ernie
Golf carts, green fees and halfway house
Light lunch in the clubhouse before tee-off
Personalised item signed by Ernie Els
Dinner at the boma afterwards for the three golfers (Ernie still to confirm availability for dinner.)
Accommodation for the three golfers in a dormie house. Breakfast at clubhouse the next morning
adidas will add a gift pack for each golfer.
