Cape Town City have confirmed the departure of goalkeeper Sage Stephens following his three-year stay at the Cape Town-based outfit.
The 29-year-old parted ways with the Citizens following the completion of the 2019-20 season, when his contract expired.
Stephens, who joined City from AmaZulu on 12 August 2017, has managed to feature 38 times while keeping a total of 15 clean sheets during his three-year stay at the club.
However, Stephens has had limited game time as he was playing second fiddle to first-choice Peter Leeuwenburg over the past two seasons.
