Kaizer Chiefs attacking midfielder Nkosingiphile Ngcobo has been awarded the PSL Goal of the Month award for December following his superb goal against Sekhukhune United.
The 22-year-old was honoured with the award after he produced a sensational long-range strike to find the back of the net in the 24th minute during their 2-0 win over Sekhukhune United at the FNB Stadium on 12 December 2021.
Ngcobo has been ever present in the Amakhosi squad this campaign, scoring two goals and assisting another from 10 appearances across all competitions, while being named on the bench seven times and missing four matches.
“I think it was a good goal but we created the goal as a team,” Ngcobo told the media.
“The way we shifted and circulated the ball was very good and with Njabulo Blom finding me in the half spaces, I was able to turn and finish. I think I was just there to finish but it was a well-worked goal from the whole team.”
