Pitso Mosimane names strong side for National Bank tie

Al Ahly head coach Pitso Mosiamne has announced his 21-man squad for their upcoming Egyptian Premier League encounter with National Bank of Egypt SC at the Arab Contractors Stadium on Wednesday evening.

Ahly will arrive this fixture high in confidence after they secured their place in the Caf Champions League final despite playing out to a thrilling 2-2 draw with ES Setif over the weekend.

The Red Eagles will face Wydad Casablanca of Morocco in the competition’s final set to be played at the Stade Mohamed V in Morocco on 30 May.

On the domestic front, Ahly enter this match in third place in the league standings with 33 points from 14 games, trailing second-placed Pyramid FC by six points and leaders Zamalek by eighth with five games in hand.
