Mamelodi Sundowns proved their dominance by claiming a comfortable victory over Maritzburg United, while Cape Town City returned to winning ways after edging out Chippa United in the DStv Premiership on Tuesday evening.

Mamelodi Sundowns extended their winning run to five games after they hammered Maritzburg United 5-0 thanks to a brace by Cassius Mailula and Haashim Domingo, and a goal from Thapelo Morena at the Harry Gwala Stadium in Pietermaritzburg.
The massive victory sees Sundowns move three points clear of Richards Bay at the top of the table with 25 points, while Maritzburg remain in 14th place on the log with 11 points from 12 matches.

Cape Town City FC 2-1 Chippa United
Cape Town City bounced back and returned to winning ways in the DStv Premiership after they came from behind to beat Chippa United 2-1 at the Cape Town Stadium on Tuesday night.
Goals from captain Thamsanqa Mkhize and Khanyisa Mayo handed City all three points which sees them climb to ninth place on the log – level on 13 points with AmaZulu and Golden Arrows, while the Chilli Boys moved up to sixth place in the table with 17 points from 12 matches, despite the defeat.

Royal AM 3-1 Golden Arrows
Royal AM ended their three-game winless run in the league when they secured a comfortable 3-1 win over Golden Arrows after Sera Motebang, Ruzaigh Gamildien and Lesvin Stoffels cancelled out Sbonelo Cele’s 32nd-minute equaliser at the Chatsworth Stadium in Durban.
Despite clinching the win and all three points, Royal AM dropped down to seventh place on the log with 16 points from 11 matches, while Arrows fell to 11th place on the table – level on 13 points with joint ninth-placed AmaZulu and Cape Town City after playing 12 matches so far this season.
