Liverpool booked their place in the Champions League last 16 after seeing off Ajax 3-0, while Barcelona were eliminated following their 3-0 defeat to Bayern Munich on Wednesday.

AFC Ajax 0-3 Liverpool

Liverpool progressed to the last 16 of the Champions League after they cruised to a comfortable 3-0 victory over Ajax through goals from Harvey Elliott, Darwin Núñez and Mohamed Salah at the Amsterdam ArenA.

Atletico Madrid 2-2 Bayer Leverkusen

Atletico Madrid crashed out of the Champions League following a dramatic 2-2 home draw with Bayer Leverkusen after Yannick Carrasco missed a penalty awarded by VAR after the final whistle was initially blown.

Barcelona 0-3 Bayern Munich

Bayern Munich clinched the top spot in Group C with a comfortable 3-0 win to eliminate Barcelona after goals by Benjamin Pavard, Eric Choupo-Moting and Sadio Mané at Camp Nou.
