Mamelodi Sundowns midfielder Cassius Mailula is relishing the chance to continue his current run of form to help the team when they come up against a tricky Royal AM outfit on Saturday.

The Brazilians will be hoping to extend their winning run in the DStv Premiership to six games when they travel to the Chatsworth Stadium to face Royal AM in their next encounter.

The 21-year-old has been in impressive form for Sundowns after he netted a brace in their 5-0 trashing of Maritzburg United in their previous league encounter.

Mailula will be hoping he can add to his goal tally and help his side walk away with another positive result away from home.

“It was a very important game for us to win because from the past weekend we had just lost a very important game that we had to bounce back strong and make sure that we redeem ourselves and also close off well in the last game of this year,” Mailula told his club’s official website.

“For me, I think it was a very great performance from me [because] the most important thing is actually scoring. If I’m not scoring the team won’t win, so it was a good contribution to actually get the team to win and I’m glad that I even got my brace from that game.”
