Orlando Pirates striker Zakhele Lepasa has made a shock loan move to SuperSport United for the remainder of the season.
Lepasa has fallen out of favour under coach Jose Riveiro and has only managed to feature 13 times across all competitions for the Buccaneers this season.
The 25-year-old will now spend the remainder of the campaign on loan at SuperSport under the guidance of head coach Gavin hunt.
The Bafana Bafana attacker, who came through the development ranks at Pirates, has previous experience spending time on loan at Stellenbosch FC as well as TS Galaxy.
Pirates have since released the following statement on their official Twitter page, which reads:
“@orlandopirates can confirm that it has reached an agreement with @SuperSportFC for the services of @Lepasazakhele, who will join Matsatsantsa on loan for the rest of the season.”
