Mamelodi Sundowns were forced to share the spoils with AmaZulu after they played out to a thrilling 2-2 draw at the Princess Magogo Stadium on Wednesday evening.

Bongani Zungu opened the scoring for the visitors inside the 26 minute before in-form striker Peter Shalulile doubled their lead early in the second half.

Usuthu managed to pull a goal back in the 65th minute through Ramahlwe Mphahlele before Sede Junior Dion bagged a late goal to earn Usuthu a point at home.

The draw sees Sundowns remain at the top of the log standings with 68 points after 28 games, while AmaZulu are in 11th place on the table with 33 points from 28 matches.
