Kaizer Chiefs dropped out of the top four after they conceded a 1-0 defeat against 10-man Cape Town City in the DStv Premiership clash at the FNB Stadium in Soweto.
The Citizens walked away with all three points after a ninth-minute goal by Mduduzi Mdantsane after Khnayisa Mayo played him through on goal but the Cape Town were forced to finish the game with 10-man after Taariq Fielies received his marching orders in the 34th minute of the game.
The defeat sees Amakhosi drop out of the top four and into fifth place with 44 points after 30 games, while City leapfrogged Chiefs to secure a top-four finish to end the campaign on 45 points.
