Cape Town City have announced that midfielder Jaedin Rhodes has signed a new long term contract with the club.

The 20-year-old was promoted to City’s first team during the 2021-22 season following an impressive campaign with the DStv Diski Challenge team.

The attacking midfielder has since gone on to be a regular feature in the first team setup, having made 18 appearances across all competitions and assisting two goals during the 2022-23 season.

“The club is delighted to announce Jaedin Rhodes has signed a new long term contract,” City posted on Twitter.

“From dazzling in the academy, the 20y has become a key part of City’s first team.
