South African winger Tshepo Matete has found a new home after he was announced as the latest signing by Botswana outfit Township Rollers.

The 31-year-old joins Rollers from DStv Premiership outfit Chippa United, where he only made one appearance for the club on the final day of the season

The dribbling wizard parted ways with the Chilli Boys after his contract was not renewed by the Eastern Cape-based side.

Matete will now make his return to Rollers and it will be his second stint at the Botswana Premier League side.

He brings a wealth of experience having previously played for Baroka FC, Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila, township Rollers and Chippa United.

“The Gucci Bag is back Home. Township Rollers is pleased to announce the signing of South African winger Tshepo Matete,” read the club’s statement.

“Join us in welcoming the skillful former Baroka FC and Chippa United star to the Blues.”
