The details of the deal’s price were not made public, but the English press said it was likely around £30 million ($38.5 million).
Saint-Maximin, who is 26 years old, has played 124 games for Newcastle, which is backed by Saudi Arabia, and scored 13 goals since joining from Nice in 2019.
Cristiano Ronaldo, Roberto Firmino, Riyad Mahrez, Karim Benzema, and Jordan Henderson are just some of the well-known players who have moved to the Saudi Pro League.
