Kaizer Chiefs’ new signing Efmamjjasond Gonzalez Palacios has opened up on his move to Amakhosi stating it’s been a dream of his to play in Africa.
The 24-year-old arrived in South Africa on Wednesday and has officially been unveiled by the club.
The Colombian international is now waiting on his paperwork to be finalised in order for the club to register him.
Gonzales joins the club from Bolivian Premier League side Real Santa Cruz where he scored eight goals in 20 matches across all competitions
“I am thankful for the opportunity I have been given. It is a dream for me to be in Africa,” Gonzales told his club’s official website.
“For me, it is the centre of everything, I am happy to be here and very happy with what I have seen so far. I can’t wait to start.”
Over the course of his career, Gonzalez has scored 10 goals and registered one assist in 50 appearances in all competitions playing for the likes of Atlético Nacional B, San Lorenzo II, All Boys, San Miguel and most recently Real Santa Cruz.
