Cape Town City have confirmed that midfielder Taahir Goedeman has signed a new contract with the club.
The 24-year-old came through the ranks at City and has committed his future to the club after putting pen to paper on a four-year contract with the Citizens.
Goedeman has been ever-present in the City side and has made 59 appearances across all competitions while scoring five goals and registering two assists in the process.
The Citizens have now announced that the midfielder will remain at the club for the next four years.
“We are delighted to announce that Taahir Goedeman has signed a new four-year contract with the Citizens,” City posted on social media.

Meanwhile, coach Eric Tinkler said: “Very pleased that Balla signed a new contract, he’s developed significantly in the past few seasons since I joined, and we’re optimistic he’ll continue to do so.”
