Amajita coach Thabo Senong has made several changes to his squad to face Namibia in the second-leg of the Caf U20 AYC 2016 qualifier match.
The South African U20 side reported to the camp today in preparations for their clash against the Brave Warriors at FNB Stadium on June 11, reports Safa.net.
Senong expressed his delight at selecting a balanced squad to face the Brave Warriors.
‘I am pleased with the team we have selected for the 2nd leg. It is a very balanced squad in terms of quality and experience, coach Senong said.
The Amajita coach went on to say that his side won’t underestimate Namibia but will put in a good performance to advance in the tournament.
‘We will not underestimate the Namibians but we will work very hard to get the result we need to go to the next round of qualifiers,’ the Amajita coach added.
In the first-leg Amajita played to a goalless draw against Namibia at the Sam Nujoma Stadium in Windhoek. The match is set to get underway at 15:00.
