Kaizer Chiefs interim coach Cavin Johnson has opened up about his future at Naturena.

Johnson was appointed as interim coach in October last year after the club parted ways with Molefi Ntseki after Chiefs poor run of results at the start of the 2023-24 DStv Premiership season.

The 65-year-old has oversaw 13 games at the helm of the club with five wins, four draws and conceding four defeats across all competitions.

After missing the opportunity to go second on the league following their goalless draw against Cape Town City, Johnson was questions on his future at the club.

“I don’t know. But we’ll see. It’s all in the hands of the Almighty,” Johnson said after their goalless draw against City.

“I will tell you, I will really inform you there’s no such thing as interim coach. You take the team and you work until the team doesn’t need you anymore.

“So yes, I’m doing the best I can as a coach and taking this brand of football to the best that we can for the last nine games of the season.”
