Orlando Pirates coach Jose Riveiro admits that he learns just as much from his players as they do from him.
The Buccaneers secured their place in the Nedbank Cup semi-finals after they crushed AmaZulu 4-2 at the Moses Mabhida Stadium on Saturday
The Sea Robbers are now set to face Chippa United in the last four after the Chilli Boys defeated TS Galaxy at the Mbombela Stadium on Sunday.
Riveiro says he was impressed by his side’s performance against AmaZulu in the Nedbank Cup quarter-final encounter on Saturday.
“We as coaches the place where we learn the most is from our players. If we don’t learn from our players, we’re not gonna get the best from our team,” Riveiro told SuperSport Tv after the game.
“So it’s a constant process from the training ground to the competition.
“Today I’m really not surprised but impressed with the way the team competed. We played very good football but we also played with the heart, they played for the fans. The atmosphere today was incredible.
“At the end of the day we’re doing it for them. They are gonna be Orlando Pirates fans their whole lives, we’re here for a time and we have to give our all because that’s what they deserve.”
