Orlando Pirates striker Tshegofatso Mabasa says he will continue to work hard to reach his objectives this season.
The 27-year-old continued his form in front of goal after bagging a brace to hand Pirates a 2-0 win over Cape Town City at the DHL Stadium on Wednesday.
The Free State-born striker is now on 13 goals in the DStv Premiership, one goal behind top scorer Iqraam Rayner on 14 goals.
Mabasa is looking to continue his current run of form in the hopes of achieving his and his team’s objectives for the season.
“I’m a striker, I’m critical on the chances that I miss,” Mabasa told SuperSport TV after the game.
“So if I get to have at least five shots in a game I want three of them to go into the back of the net, that’s me, that’s who I am and I’ll continue to work on it in order to achieve those numbers I’ve set for myself.”
