TS Galaxy head coach Sead Ramovic says his side showed their fighting spirit to come from behind and secure a point against Kaizer Chiefs.
The Rockets walked away with a point after they came from a goal down to secure a 2-2 draw against Amakhosi at the Peter Mokaba Stadium on Tuesday.
The draw sees Galaxy sit in fifth place on the log with 39 points from 26 matches, while Chiefs remain in eighth place with 34 points after 27 matches.
“It was a fifth game after 15 days, it’s unbelievable how we came into it with a lot of energy. Unbelievable opportunity after two minutes, we missed a goal from five metres, we had it again after 12 minutes, where the goalkeeper saved,” Ramovic told SuperSport TV after the game.
“And after that give away, we as a team we made a mistake, we win together, we lose together, we had to come back, it is what it is. It was a clear penalty.
“We wanted to come stronger in the second-half but after the free-kick we conceded again and it was not easy to come back because Chiefs they defended very well but we showed huge character and I have to give a lot of credit to my guys.
“I also want to congratulate this beautiful amazing club Chiefs, very strong team and I hope they will come back even stronger because Chiefs actually belongs in the top three and I think in the future they will do the things better because this is a quality club, beautiful supporters.
“All in all, we have five more games in front of us, we need points so we can reach our goal, to be in top eight. We showed again a beautiful game but we just have to score the goals when we score these kind of opportunities,” he concluded.
