Orlando Pirates are keen on bringing midfielder Thembinkosi Lorch back to the club following his impressive performances on loan at Cape Town All Stars, according to reports.
The Soweto giants acquired the services of Lorch from Maluti FET College last year but loaned him out to afford him room to grow. The player has since excelled and the Buccaneers are now keen to bring him to the club and test his abilities in the more competitive environment of the PSL, reports KickOff.
Lorch proved influential in the playmaker role for NFD side All Stars and managed to net five times from his 22 appearances for the club.
It was this good form that alerted the attention of parent club, who are set to bring him into the fold as an attacking option for the 2016-17 season.
Pirates finished a disappointing seventh in the Premiership standings this term following a dismal start the to campaign under new boss Eric Tinkler.
The Bucs did recover somewhat over the second half of the season, but ultimately slumped to a 3-2 defeat at the hands of SuperSport United in the Nedbank Cup Final; ending the season trophyless.
