Kaizer Chiefs have confirmed the signing of Angolan international Inácio Miguel from Petro De Luanda.
The 28-year-old arrived in South Africa on Tuesday to undergo his medical before putting pen on paper on a three-year contract with the Soweto giants.
The Angolan international played a crucial role in helping Petro de Luanda win the Angola’s domestic league title last season as well as participating in the CAF Champions League.
Miguel becomes Amakhosi’s fifth signing behind Rushwin Dortley, Fiacre Ntwari, Bongani Sam and Gaston Sirino.
“We are happy to have a player of Inacio Miguel’s calibre join our team,” says Sporting Director, Kaizer Motaung Jr told his club’s official website.
“We’ve watched him and believe his experience, skill and passion for the game embody the spirit of Kaizer Chiefs and will add a lot of positives in the team.
“We believe that he will contribute significantly with his talent and are looking forward to working with him as he writes another chapter of his career in South Africa.”
