Orlando Pirates advanced to the CAF Champions League second preliminary round following a comfortable 4-0 victory over Disciples FC on Friday evening.

The Buccaneers opened the scoring as early as the eighth minute when Tshegofatso Mabasa turned in the box before unleashing a volley to find the net.

Relebohile Mofokeng doubled his side’s lead in the 24th minute after he calmly found the far corner after a quick one-two with Patrick Maswanganyi.

The Soweto giants added a third goal a minute later when Patrick Maswanganyi found the top left corner following his thunderous strike from outside the box.

The Buccaneers put the game to bed when Karim Kimvuidi scored a stoppage-time goal for Pirates fourth goal of the evening as they advanced to the next round of the competition with a 4-0 aggregate win over Disciples FC.
