Safa president Danny Jordaan has heaped praise on ABC Motsepe League president Patrice Motsepe for the impact his contributions have made in the country.

Nine Provincial teams from the ABC Motsepe league will go head-to-head for the two spots in the NFD following the national playoffs draw that was conducted at SAFA House on Monday, reports Safa.net.

The dates for the national playoffs have been confirmed for June 13-19 at the DR P Molemela Stadium and Kaizer Sebothelo Stadium.

Jordaan insisted that the ABC Motsepe League has made a positive impact in the country and went on to show his gratitude toward president Patrice Motsepe for his contribution over the years.

‘When you think of Baroka FC; only a few years back, they were seated right here at the very same draw and look where they are now,’ the Safa president said.

‘We as the Association are grateful to people like Mr Motsepe who has shown over the years that investing in our own is very critical for social cohesion and development,’ Jordaan added.

Jordaan wished all participating teams well in the play-offs and urged them to make the best of this opportunity.
