Highly-rated midfielder Chumani Butsaka has bid farewell to Cape Town Spurs following his move to Stellenbosch FC.
The Urban Warriors have confirmed that Butsaka has agreed on a deal to join the Cape Winelands side.
The 22-year-old scored one goal and grabbed three assists in 28 appearances across all competitions for Spurs last season.
Butsaka has shown his gratitude towards the club and sent a message bidding farewell as he prepares for his new journey.
“Be patient, and just trust the process,” Butsaka told his club’s official website.
“Whatever you do, God knows when it’s the right time. Just keep praying and stay positive and just tell yourself it’s going to happen.
“I’m going to bring energy, they can use me anywhere. That’s the nice thing, and with the ability I have I think I can fit in quite well.
“I need to make baby steps and my dream is to play for Bafana Bafana and go overseas.”
