Orlando Pirates coach Jose Riveiro showered Kabelo Dlamini with praise after scoring the winning goal against Richards Bay in their Betway Premiership clash in Durban.
The Buccaneers stretched their winning run in the Betway Premiership to three games in a row after Dlamini scored the winning goal in their 1-0 win over Richards Bay.
The 28-year-old netted a stunning free-kick from outside the box with goalkeeper Ian Otieno left rooted to the stop in the 82nd minute.
Dlamini has so far scored one goal and registered one assist in eight appearances across all competitions for the Buccaneers.
“Everybody knows ‘KB’ is capable to put one more gear into the team when we need it,” Ribeiro told SuperSport TV after the game.
“It didn’t work the way we expected to be honest but good enough the contribution, especially with that excellent goal, that gave us the three points.
“It is important again that everybody on the bench is important to die for the team even if you play one minute and ‘KB’ today was exceptional.”
