Orlando Pirates attacking midfielder Kabelo Dlamini was delighted to have gotten on the scoresheet and helped his side walk away with all three points.
The Buccaneers stretched their winning run in the Betway Premiership to three games in a row after Dlamini scored the winning goal in their 1-0 win over Richards Bay.
The 28-year-old netted a stunning free-kick from outside the box with goalkeeper Ian Otieno left rooted to the stop in the 82nd minute.
Dlamini has so far scored one goal and registered one assist in eight appearances across all competitions for the Buccaneers.
“We knew it was going to be a difficult game because we haven’t won against Richard Bay in the last three games and as you saw today they came in a low block,” Dlamini told Pirates official X page after the game.
“They made it difficult for us but we managed to get the goal and the three points away from home.
“We put a lot of work in free-kicks, me and ‘DH’ (Deon Hotto) and I’m happy it showed today.
“I managed to score it today so I’m happy I managed to get the team three points.”
