Orlando Pirates coach Jose Riveiro admits this is only the beginning and that his side are challenging for silverware on all fronts.

The Buccaneers made history by claiming their third straight MTN8 title following their 3-1 comeback victory over Stellenbosch FC at the Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban.

Lehlogonolo Mojela opened the scoring for Stellies in the 12th minute before Monnapule Saleng levelled matters in the 43rd minute but stoppage-time goals from Tshegofatso Mabasa and Relebohile Mofokeng sealed the victory over Pirates.

The Spanish tactician was proud of his side’s display and stated that their is more to come from the team as they continue to improve game by game.

“The guys are making history, today is once again proof that it’s the beginning for them, we have an excellent team, young, with a future, they need to push the level high, competing for major things even,” the Spanish coach said.

“Thanks to Stellenbosch, they played an excellent final but I think Pirates were superior tonight, even though we started behind.”
