Former AmaZulu coach Pablo Franco Martin has penned a heartfelt message to the club following his recent departure from Usuthu.
The Durban-based outfit recently confirmed the departure of head coach Martin and assistant Aitor Van Den Brule.
Usuthu have had a slow start to the Betway Premiership campaign, having lost their first three matches against Polokwane City, Kaizer Chiefs and Marumo Gallants.
AmaZulu now find themselves at the foot of the league table with zero points after the first three matches.
“After nearly a year and a half of intense work, dedication and enjoyment in the day-to-day process of leading AmaZulu FC, I would first like to express my heartfelt gratitude to the club and the Zungu family for their trust and support,” Franco Martin wrote in his official statement.
“A special thanks to the staff for their professionalism and commitment, to the players for their effort and affection, to all the club’s employees for their invaluable work every day.”
“From now on, there will always be another member of the Usuthu family wherever I am,” he concluded.
